If you are attending this workshop there are a few steps you need to take before attending.

1. Signing up to Second Life
This session will involve participation in the virtual world, ‘Second Life’.  You will need to sign up for membership, which is free and create an avatar for Second Life. You can sign up by following this link: https://join.secondlife.com/

Once you have signed up and created an avatar you will need to download the second life application onto your computer.

Note: There are some minimum system requirements your computer/laptop will need to run second life which can be found at: http://secondlife.com/support/sysreqs.php

If your computer meets the minimum system requirements but you still get an error message when first running the second life application try continuing to sign into second life as it may still work.
